Description

For serious Research and Developent for Science and Engineering, having the capability to run UNIX commands and shell scripts as well as having access to the GNU Tool Chain is essential. Getting stuck in a closed proprietary environment is not the way forward. In addition, having access to open source code is a requirement to dig into the algorithms to not only debug but extend capabilities.

Capsim TMK is based on the Lesser GPL version 2 License.

To make working in the interactive Text Mode environment ( versus the full interactive graphical version of Capsim ), as productive as possible, Silicon DSP Corporation has developed a number of Open Source Tools based on Java. In summary the Java tools allow for:

(a) plotting results ,

(b) creating graphical block diagrams automatically from the topology description and

(c) for building and adding new blocks.

This release of 64 bit Capsim TMK for MACOSX includes support for TIFF image input and output, the CLAPACK Library and built in support for TCL Scripting. In addition, we support audio AIFF file read and write using Open Source Code developed by the Silicon DSP Corpration engineers.
